A Day in the Life of a Plumber


As a Plumber, you would use blueprints and diagrams to assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems according to building specifications and plumbing codes. Essential abilities or skills for this job include: troubleshooting leaks and faulty materials, the ability to work independently, customer service skills, and the use of a variety of hand and power tools.

Your daily duties may include…

Using pipes, valves, plumbing fixtures, tanks, and other apparatuses to convey fluids. Heating and cooling (HVAC), waste removal, and potable water delivery are among the most common uses for plumbing.
